Macadamia Nuts

Macadamia Nuts

Macadamia nuts, a true treasure of the Hawaiian Islands, have a rich history that dates back over 100 years. Originally brought to Hawaii from their native land, Australia, they were initially planted for ornamental and shade purposes. It wasn’t until the early to mid-20th century that these nuts began to be cultivated for their delicious flavor and incredible texture. Today, Hawaii is recognized as one of the largest producers of premium macadamia nuts in the world, and a leader in innovative cultivation techniques.

For generations, our farmers on the Big Island of Hawaii have been hand-picking the finest macadamia nuts, ensuring each harvest meets the highest standards. At Aloha Farms Hawaii, we offer whole, half, and diced macadamia nut kernels in commercial grade, perfect for cooking, baking, and making gourmet confections.

What makes our macadamia nuts special? Grown in the rich, nutrient-dense volcanic soil of Hawaii, these nuts have a naturally sweet flavor, a creamy light color, and an irresistibly buttery texture. In comparison, nuts from other parts of the world are typically smaller, yellowish in color, and denser in texture.

We are proud to be an active member of the Hawaii Macadamia Nut Association, and we follow sustainable practices such as Nutrient Management, Integrated Pest Management, and Orchard Floor and Canopy Management methods to ensure our nuts are as good for the environment as they are for your tastebuds.
